Jody Cost

Jody Ann Cost, 38, of Circleville, died 2:49 pm, May 15, 2014, at the Cleveland Clinic following an extended illness. She was born October 22, 1975 to Larry VanHorn and the former Robin Thompson. On September 30, 1995 she married Cliff L. Cost. In addition to her parents and her husband, survivors include two children, Jordan and Harleigh, both at home; a sister, Heather Barbee, of Circleville; her mother-in-law, Barbara Blazer Bragg; a sister-in-law, Michelle Cost, of Frankfort; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, and her Great Dane, Peanut, whom she treated as one of her children. Jody was a logistics specialist in Columbus and did work for ABX and DHL shipping as well as for Whirlpool. Companies sought her talents and requested her specifically to handle their needs. She enjoyed anything outdoors and dirty, including racing and mud bogging. Funeral services will be held 7:00 pm Wednesday at the HALLER FUNERAL HOME. Friends may call 2 hours prior to the service.
