Jody Burnett

Jody Michael Burnett, 56, of Kenton, formerly of Circleville, died February 10, 2018 at the Cleveland Clinic, following an extended illness.   He was born January 2, 1962 in Circleville to the late Eugene Burnett and Rosemary Lowery. Survivors include his son, Bryan (his fiancée Jill Duehren) Burnett, of Circleville; his special companion, Brenda Mattevi, of Kenton; the mother of his child, Susan Hummel, of Circleville; several cousins, including special cousins, Nik (Martha) Wenzel, Felicia (Al) Vonderheide, Heather Bradley, Lisa Shannon, P.D., Harley, Julia, Nik, Luke and Erika; and his dogs, Roxie and Spanky.   Mr. Burnett was the owner/operator of First Class Logistics Trucking and drove for Precision Strip Trucking. He was a tractor pull driver and enjoyed building and customizing "large cars" (semi tractors).   Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm Saturday at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow in Hitler-Ludwig Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 pm Friday at Haller's.
