Jimmy Maxwell

James "Jimmy" Maxwell, 62, of Kingston, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Adena Hospital following an extended illness.
He was born October 10, 1962, in Chillicothe, son of the late Charles and Patricia (Hupp) Maxwell. On August 11, 2001, he married his beloved wife, Toni L. (Davis) Maxwell, who survives.
Also surviving is his daughter, Samantha (Jason) Ball, grandchildren, Adelaide and Aiden Ball, brother-in-law, Jim Hays, sisters-in-law, Cheri Maxwell, Joy Maxwell, Tami (Tony) Rawlins, and Kim Davis (Mike Farkas), and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Jimmy is preceded in death by his siblings, Peggy Hays, Bob Maxwell, and Chip Maxwell.
Jimmy was a graduate of Zane Trace High School. He worked at Chillicothe Packaging for 34 years and retired as the Plant Manager. He loved mushroom hunting, gardening, and in the fall, cheering on his beloved OSU Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns football teams.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 1:00pm at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory followed by burial at Salem-White Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
