Jessie A. Price, 86, of Chillicothe, went to be with her Lord July 21, 2021, following an extended illness.
She was born October 5 1934 in Tucson, OH to the late Roscoe E. and Louise R. Wunsch Draher. On June 8, 1953 she married Amos E. Price, who survives. Also surviving are three children, Louise R. Hamman, Chillicothe, Penney L. (Edward) Adams, Frankfort, and Amous E. (Connie) Price, Jr., Waldo, OH; 7 grandchildren, Wes Hamman, Morgan (Jared) O'Dell, Aaron Price, Abram Price, Tyler Adams, Joshua Chaney, and Wyatt (Julie) Adams; 7 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rachel (Charles) Ott and Shirley (Robert) Meeker; and numerous nieces and nephews including two special nephews, Larry and David Price. She was preceded in death by a child, Joseph Price; a grandchild, Caleb Price; and 10 siblings.
Mrs. Price was a homemaker and a Certified Dietary Manager. She was a member of Beulah Chapel CCCU Church and enjoyed NASCAR. Mrs. Price loved the Lord and her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother; and she enjoyed bringing people to the Lord.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Monday at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory, Rev. Aaron Long officiating. Burial will follow in the Charleston Church of the Brethren (Dunkard Hill) Cemetery. Friends may call 1:00 – 3:00 pm Sunday at Haller's. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Beulah Chapel CCCU, Youth Program, 585 Chester Hill Rd., Chillicothe, OH 45601 or the Ryan Blaney Family Foundation (for Alzheimer's) at www.ryanblaneyfamilyfoundation.org .
