Jessie Brown

Jessie M. Brown, 95, of Chillicothe, died at 10:51am on February 15, 2023, at Promedica Heartland following a brief illness.   She was born July 1, 1927, in Vinton County, OH to the late John and Arthrella (Zimmerman) Mace.  On July 9, 1951, she married Earl T. Brown, who preceded her in death December 7, 1996.   Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law Thomas (Carla) Brown, Chillicothe; grandchildren: Ryan Brown, McKenna Brown, Tessa Brown and her fiancée Eric Cunningham; great-granddaughter Cameron; great-grandsons Theo and Elias; many nieces and nephews, including special nieces Charlene, Linda, Connie, Karen, Sharon and Deanna.  She was predeceased by her granddaughter Sarah (Moody) Brown; 3 sisters and 2 brothers.   Jessie retired from the Mead Paper Co. in 1989 following 42 years of service.  She enjoyed traveling, especially to Gatlinburg, TN.  The family would like to thank the staff of Promedica for their care and support.   Family and friends are invited to attend her graveside service 1:00pm Monday, February 20, at Green Summit Cemetery, Adelphi.  Arrangements are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.
