Jesse Clary

Jesse E. Clary Jr., age 83, of Richmond Dale, Ohio, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Adena Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness.

He was born September 12, 1940 in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late Jesse E. Sr. and Lessie (Teeters) Clary. On December 24, 1957 he married his loving and devoted wife Patricia (Fout) Clary, who survives. Also surviving are three children, Rick (Carol) Clary, of Ray, Dan (Jody) Clary, and Jackie (Butch) Brammer, all of Richmond Dale; grandchildren, Ben Clary, of Ray, Kaleena (Brad) Patton, Scott (Kelli) Clary, John (Patricia) Clary, Karissa (JR) Stauffer, and Kelsey (Zack) Callihan, all of Richmond Dale; great-grandchildren Trevor (Michelle) Patton, Jacob Patton, Kylee, Bryson, Averi, and Corbin Clary, and Harper, Hadley, and Sawyer Stauffer, all of Richmond Dale. He was preceded in death by his infant brother, Charles E. Clary.

Jesse dedicated his life to his family and trucking business, Clary Trucking, founded by his father in 1947. He enjoyed working on his farm, traveling, and spending his winters in Florida. Jesse loved his family, friends, and trucking. He was proud of the life he and his wife built together.

Friends may call on Sunday, September 17, from 4-7p.m. at Haller Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Monday, September 18 at 11 a.m. with a graveside service following at Little Mound Cemetery in Richmond Dale. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
