Jerry Sexton

Jerry Emmett Sexton Sr., 70, of Chillicothe, died February 16, 2022 at Mt. Carmel Medical Center-East, Columbus.
He was born February 27, 1951 in Gallipolis, OH to the late Elwood and Mary Buskirk Sexton. Survivors include his son, Jerry E. "J. R." Sexton Jr., of Rincon, GA; his significant other, Diane E. Addy; grandchildren, Hayley and Justin Sexton; two step-children, John Addy and Johnita (Troy) Dyke, of Chillicothe; step-grandchildren, Madison and Coleton Lightle, Katie Dyke, and Devyn, Savannah and Haynna Addy; a great-grandchild, Haddie Mae Skaggs; a sister, Mary Anna Bethel, of Chillicothe; and two nieces, Jamee Lindsey and Rogena Hiles.
Jerry retired from the US Air Force, was a Vietnam War veteran, and was an avid bowler.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 pm Monday at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at Haller's. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ross Co. Humane Society, 2309 Lick Run Rd., Chillicothe, OH 45601
