Jerry Gatten

Jerry L. Gatten, 49, died at 7:28am June 20, 2017, at his residence, following a 6-month battle with cancer.   He was born March 5, 1968, in Chillicothe to James and Carol (Curtis) Gatten, who survive and reside in Chillicothe.   Also surviving are his sister and brother-in-law Marilyn (Michael) Charney; niece Amanda Charney and nephew John Charney, all of Cincinnati.   Jerry was a graduate of Unioto High School, Class of 1987. He worked for a subcontractor at DuPont in Circleville. He was a big fan of stock car racing and NASCAR. He enjoyed attending races with his friends and cheering for his favorite driver, Jeff Gordon.   Private graveside services will be held in Greenlawn Cemetery under the direction of Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.
