Jerrod Scaggs

Jerrod K. Scaggs, 47, of Chillicothe Ohio passed away unexpectedly on March 28, 2025. He was born August 14, 1977 in Chillicothe Ohio to Patricia Hess-Oyer who survives and Keith A Scaggs (deceased).
Also surviving are children, Taylor, William, and Torri, grandchildren Xzavier and Olivia, mother Patricia Hess-Oyer (Steve Oyer), siblings Justin Scaggs (Alishia M.), Debbie (Chris M.) Scaggs, Tara and Sam Robuck, Keith Scaggs (Brittney), Nathan Scaggs, Bryan Scaggs (Corrine), Donnie Scaggs (Brenda), Brad Scaggs (Angel), Jason Scaggs, Jamie Hiles, Jason Oyer (Heather), Tanya Taylor (Roger), and a host of nieces and nephews, aunts Judy (Mark) Cowan, Peggy Hess, and his favorite uncle Walt Hess, last but not least his favorite nephew, Chris Scaggs "chubby bubby, and many other family and friends.
He is predeceased by his father Keith Scaggs, grandparents William (Roberta) Hess, Donald (Rosemary) Scaggs, and nephew Tristan Hiles.
Jerrod was self-employed. He was a maintenance/construction worker who could do just about anything. He was a jack of all trades and loved to go to the lake house, hunting, fishing, and ride Harley's. Most of all he loved and missed working with his grandpa Bill Hess. He had an amazing sense of humor and a heart of gold. He loved spending time with family and adored his grandchildren more than anything in the world.
A Memorial Gathering with be held at the Haller Funeral Home on Friday, April 4 th , from 5 to 7 pm at which point friends can gather at Shawnee Lanes, 1680 N Bridge St. Chillicothe to continue the Celebration of Jerrod's life.
