Jeraldine Cyrus

Jeraldine L. (Graves) Cyrus, 83, of Chillicothe, died at 11:00pm Tuesday, June 8, 2010, in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. She was born October 10, 1926, in Vinton Co., OH, to the late Dora (Morris) and Lane Otis Graves, Sr. On June 1, 1947, she married William L. Cyrus, Sr., who survives. Also surviving are her son and daughter-in-law William L. (Donna Murray) Cyrus, Jr.; daughter Lisa Cyrus, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren Tahaune Cyrus Starring, Chillicothe; William L. "Trey" Cyrus III, Lucasville, OH; Clayton Andrew Cyrus, Chillicothe; great-grandchildren Jessica Malone, Lacey Malone, Jenna Starring, all of Chillicothe; Mason William Cyrus, of Lucasville; siblings Roma Graves Knox, Columbus, OH; Janis Graves Brown, Jackson, OH; Lane Otis Graves, Jr., McArthur, OH; and Brad Graves, Nelsonville, OH. She was predeceased by a sister Priscilla Graves. Mrs. Cyrus was an exceptional homemaker. In addition to caring for her family, she enjoyed crafting, crochet and gardening. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, June 12, in the Haller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Boblett Cemetery, Vinton Co., OH. Friends may call Friday from 6-8pm at Haller Funeral Home.
