Jenny Triplett

Genevieve L. "Jenny" Triplett, 96, of Ray, OH, died at 12:35pm May 25, 2024, at Adena Regional Medical Center.

She was born February 28, 1928, in Logan, WV, to the late Linheart and Hazel (Carper) Linville and was raised by her late aunt and uncle Ada and Tom Mullins.  On December 29, 1948, she married Woodford "Woody" Triplett, who preceded her in death January 6, 2008.

Surviving are their 3 children: Janet (Mike) Barbee, of Ray, OH, Robert "Bob" (Kaye) Triplett, Carroll, OH, and Richard "Rick" Triplett, Cape Coral, FL; grandchildren: Tricia McGarvey, Brian Triplett, Michelle Triplett, Jennifer (Terry) Swackhammer, Jason (Lacey) Sharp and Jackie (Tim) Fleming; great-grandchildren: Kaila McGarvey, Haley (Nick) Gravina, Payton Swackhammer, Logan Swackhammer, Conner Sharp, Madison Sharp, Cadence Fleming and Deacon Fleming; sisters-in-law, Susie and Arlene Triplett; numerous extended family members both living and deceased; and her beloved cat "Flash."

Jenny was a graduate of Jackson High School, Class of 1947. She and Woody operated & owned Trippies Restaurant for many years.  She loved playing golf, time spent at their winter home in Florida and most of all, time with friends and family. She was an amazing cook and always made time to have the Best Tea Parties that no one wanted to miss. They opened their home always to family and friends and were quite the entertainers. She always had room at her table for one more. She made everyone feel extra special and her way of life…" Every Day is a Day to Celebrate" was contagious. She was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed by us all!

Graveside services will be held at 3pm Saturday, June 1, 2024, in Little Mound Cemetery, Richmond Dale, with her friend and Pastor Bill Graves officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1pm-2pm Saturday at Haller Funeral Home, prior to the graveside.
