Jennifer Diehl

Jennifer M. Diehl, 26, died unexpectedly at Grant Medical Center on October 13, 2014. She was born August 20, 1988, in Franklin County. Surviving is her beloved daughter Kambree N. Diehl; her mother Jody Woods and her special friend Wendell Cousins; her father and step-mother Wm. Scott (Lisa) Diehl; paternal grandparents Leon W. Diehl; and Eva E. (Melvin) States; sisters Heather N. (Diehl) and Derric Varney, all of Chillicothe; Whitney L. Diehl and her significant other Dave Hollins, both of Cleveland; step-brothers Brandon and Justin Payton; nieces Ryleigh and Isabelle Varney; and Lexus Hollins; step-nephews Eli and Van Payton; and the family pet "Peek-a-boo." She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Jack V. and June E. Woods. Jennifer was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, Class of 2006. She then earned her associate degree in nursing from Ohio University and worked as a RN at Edgewood Manor. Patients dealing with Alzheimer's and dementia were her specialty. In high school, Jennifer was a member of the National Honor Society, 4H, played soccer, softball and swam. She was a loving mother, an amazing sister, wonderful daughter, aunt and friend. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. Jennifer was an organ donor and her legacy will live on through her gift. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00pm Saturday at St. Peter Church, Rev. William Hahn, Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Margaret Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home.
