Jeffrey Gene Marshall Sr., 61, of Waverly, passed away July 4, 2015 just as the fireworks filled the sky. He was born November 4, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Gene T. and Barbara Marshall of Grove City. On January 24, 1976, he was united in marriage to Lura (Buckalew) Marshall who survives. Also surviving is his son, Jeffrey G. (Amanda) Marshall II, of Grove City; his daughter, Katherine A. (Ryan) Mink, of Beavercreek; four grandchildren, Misha, Aubrey, and Nora Marshall, and Cameron Mink;his sister, Jodie Marshall; as well as many other extended family members and dear friends. Jeffrey was preceded in death by an infant sister Jennifer. Jeff was a graduate of the Paul C. Hayes Technical School at Grove City High School. He was the founder and owner of PRINTEX Printing for forty years. He was previously employed as a printing buyer by BancOhio of Columbus. As an avid outdoorsman, Jeff loved hunting, fishing the waters of Lake Erie, and his farm. He enjoyed traveling and considered Dublin, Ireland his second home. Jeff was a member of the NRA and served as committee member for Pike County Ducks Unlimited. As a member of the Ross County Chamber of Commerce, Jeff was elected 2012 entrepreneur of the year. He attended the Waverly Bible Christian Church and Grace United Methodist Church of Waverly. A memorial service will be held 6:00pm on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at the Haller Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Buriss officiating. Friends may call from 3:00pm until the time of the service.
