Jeannie Brooks, 87, died at 10:09pm November 29, 2021, at her residence following an extended illness.
She was born January 23, 1934, in Springfield, OH, to the late Harry and Clarice (Walden) Miller. She was married to Ronald L. Brooks, who preceded her in death September 2, 2010.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Ron (Shari) Brooks, South Lebanon, OH; her granddaughter Courtney Brooks, Centerville, OH; her brother Clarence "Tim" Miller, of Springfield, OH; and many nieces and nephews, including: Terry Miller and Mark Miller, both of Chillicothe, Mike Miller, of Covington, KY, Brenda Campbell, Becky Welch, and Bobby Welch, all of Xenia, Susan Miller, Donny Miller, the late Danny Miller. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by brothers Howard "Corky" Miller, Harry Miller; and sister Joann Welch.
Jeannie was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She was an avid gardener and her flower garden was enjoyed by many. She will be remembered for her love of children, especially her granddaughter Courtney.
A Memorial Mass of Celebration will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church at Noon on Thursday, December 9, Rev. Jacob Stinnett, Celebrant. Graveside inurnment will follow in St. Margaret Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, 61 S. Paint St., Chillicothe, OH 45601.
