Jay Bradley Metzger, of Chillicothe, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 24
th
, 2024, at the age of 59. He was born in Chillicothe on July 8, 1965, to Donald and Nita (Vest) Metzger.
Jay is survived by his daughter, Allison Metzger, and his brother Mark (DeeDee) Metzger, 3 nephews, as well as many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and his dog, Cooper.
Jay is a graduate of Chillicothe High School, Class of 1983. He joined the US Air Force in 1985 and left as a Staff Sergeant in 1992. Returning to Chillicothe he started working at Pixel where he has worked for the past 28 years. He loved to play golf and keno, and spend time playing cornhole with his friends at Longs Retreat.
In keeping with Jay's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, December 3 rd at 2:00pm at Greenlawn Cemetery.
