Javan Thomas

Javan W. Thomas Javan Wayne Thomas, 59, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly, early morning, Monday August 22, 2005. He was born September 22, 1945 in Chillicothe, to Lewis D. and Gloria A. Cox Thomas who preceded him in death on March 6 and November 12, 1996, respectively. Survivors include brothers and sisters-in-law, Jacques L. and Carole Thomas, Marland E. and Tamara Thomas, Dana D. and Cindy Thomas, all of Chillicothe, Aaron A. Thomas, of Columbus, Lewis D. Thomas Jr. and Jay K. Thomas, both of Chillicothe; nine nieces; thirteen nephews; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends including a special friend, Jody L. Harris, of Frankfort. Mr. Thomas was an employee of PPG Industries, Circleville, for the past 40 years. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, a member of the Brotherhood Motorcycle Club of Chillicothe, and was involved in and traveled to many motorcycle rallies with his club members and friends, as he did Sunday, the day before his death. He was also a member of the Circleville Moose Lodge. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Thursday in the Haller Funeral Home, with Elder Wayne McLaughlin officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 pm Wednesday at Haller's. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
