Jason Baldwin

Jason F. Baldwin- 51 years old of Chillicothe, Ohio, passed away on Monday, March 24th, 2025 at OSU James Cancer Center after a long courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on March 15th, 1974, Jason was the beloved son of Johnie and Jeanette Baldwin, who survive him.  On November 18, 1995, he married his one true love, Melissa R Brown (Baldwin), and together they built a beautiful life filled with Faith, love and laughter for 29 wonderful years. He was a devoted husband and proud father to his three daughters, Andrea L Baldwin, Leanna D Baldwin and Olivia F Baldwin, who were his greatest joy and continue his legacy.

In addition to his parents, Jason Baldwin is also survived by his brothers: Glenn Blain and his wife Melissa, John Baldwin and wife Regina and Jesse Baldwin and wife Donna, as well as many wonderful Niece and nephews, cousins, Mother, Brother and Sister In-laws and a large amount of special friends and family members who love him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Linnville Ray Baldwin; his paternal grandparents, Everette and Ruby Baldwin; his maternal grandparents, Esther and Bill Vanmeter; his cousin Eric Rodgers; and many beloved pets who were faithful companions throughout his life.

Jason (Jake) Baldwin, graduated from Jackson Highschool in 1992, afterwards he began working at Grange Insurance CO. at the ripe age of 18. He dedicated 33 years of his life to Grange Insurance, where his commitment, expertise and warm spirit made a lasting impact on his fellow colleagues, making many treasured friends along the way.

Jason loved being in nature, going to church and spending time with his many friends and family. Jason will be remembered for his dedication to helping others, his deep love for God and his devotion to his family.  His humor and selflessness brought joy to every life he touched.  He found joy in the simplest of things, whether it was fishing with his brothers, hiking with friends and family or food, he was able to find the bright side of life in every way. To give an idea of his love for humor and food, growing up, his fellow youth group kids at church, nick named him the "Biscuit King. If you were ever around Jason, you were guaranteed to a good laugh or long story.

Though his battle with cancer was long and difficult, he faced it with strength, faith, and unwavering love for his family.  Jason reassured everyone that no matter what happened, he would be in heaven with his blessed Saviour and encouraged others to keep their chin up and meet him in heaven.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday April 1, 2025 from 11am -2pm, the funeral service will follow after at 2. Location for both is at Kingdom Hearts Church, 375 S Watt St., Chillicothe, OH. He will be buried at Grandview Cemetery.  There will be a dinner provided by Kingdom Hearts church after the burial, but you may bring a dish if you want. You are all encouraged to attend and celebrate the wonderful life of Jason Baldwin.
