Janice E. McGraw, 82, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 23, 2022 surrounded by loved ones following an extended illness.
She was born May 14, 1940 in Ross County, Ohio, daughter of the late Lee Roy and Louise (Howard) Sanford. On June 15, 1956, she married John B. McGraw who survives.
Also surviving is her son, Ricky (Jeanne) McGraw, of Chillicothe; daughters, Toni McGraw, of Chillicothe, Sandy (Tim) Cockrell, of Chillicothe, and Tina (Philip) Weaver, of Goldsboro, NC; grandchildren, Christina Park, Nichole Bruce, Stephanie Woods, Tabitha Jay, Tawny Pence, Laura Cockrell, Megan Nicholson, Michael McGraw, Taylor Moore, Tyler Weaver, and Noah Weaver; 18 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Phyllis Barnhart, and Diana Ferrell; and two brothers, Lee (Lavonne) Sanford, and Larry (Cathy) Sanford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, John R. McGraw; her sisters, Nina Gardner, and Judith Henneberger; and a brother, William Sanford.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the National Church Residences Hospice for all of their love and care throughout her illness.
In accordance with her wishes, private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
