Janice Vanderbrink Gall, 88, formerly of Chillicothe, Ohio, passed away on July 14, 2024.
Born in Lebanon, Ohio in January 1936, Janice graduated with honors in 1954 from Lebanon High School. In April 1961 she married Richard Gall, and together, they formed a remarkable, loving partnership in life. Janice was an avid reader, lover of music, volunteer, and her humor and encyclopedic memory made her the family historian and storyteller. She welcomed all to her house for any occasion, and once you attended, you became a part of her family. Most of all, she was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend.
Janice is survived by her husband of 63 years, Richard, her son, Eric (Shelly), daughter-in-law, Stacey Gall, granddaughters Kristine Bailey and Patty Gall, grandson, Antonio Gall, and sister, Joyce (Butch) Cates. Also surviving is Susan (Dave) Markstein, with whom Janice had a very special relationship for over 40 years, which evolved into a mother/daughter bond, and her two children, who Janice thought of as her grandchildren, Sam Wyder and Hannah Wyder, along with other loving family members
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Marie Vanderbrink, brothers, John and Jim Vanderbrink, son, Greg Gall and Benjamin Wyder.
