Janet Johnson

Janet A. Johnson, 86, of Bourneville, passed from this life at 9:21am Friday, November 19, 2010, at Hearth & Care Nursing Home, Greenfield, with family by her bedside. She was born February 19, 1924, in Ross Co. to the late Howard and Edna Schiller Crusie. She was married on February 24, 1941, to D. Farrel Johnson, who survives, as well as three children: Ardella (Frank) Walters, of Blain Highway; David (Judy) Johnson, of Upper Twin Rd.; and Marlin (Nancy) Johnson, of Chillicothe; five grandchildren: Samuel (Melanie) Walters, Christopher (Stacey) Johnson, Mallory (Dustin) Wagoner, Brian (Shannon) Johnson, and Jeffrey (Devon) Johnson; a step-grandson Steve Gumm; seven great-grandchildren: Casey and Cory Walters, Molli and Jenni Walters, Dylan and Lane Johnson, and Tessa Wagoner; two step-great-grandchildren Holly and Sam Ervin; plus many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother and sister-in-law Reginald and Laverne Crusie; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Melvin and Violet Johnson, Clark and Evelyn Johnson; and a grandson Daniel F. Walters. Janet gave her heart to God at age 15 and attended Bourneville Christian Union Church. Her family would like to extend a special thanks to everyone working at Hearth and Care Nursing Home, Greenfield. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, November 23, at the Bourneville Christian Union Church with Rev. Sammy Cooper and Rev. David Maughmer officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 6-8pm at Haller Funeral Home.
