Jane Dawes

Jane E. Dawes, of Chillicothe died 9:00 pm Thursday, May 26, 2005 in the Adena Regional Medical Center, following an extended illness. She was born May 17, 1923 in Ross Co. to Reynolds and Emma Long Skinner. On March 11, 1957 she married Charles Dawes Jr., who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Debbie (Scott) Glenn, of Circleville, Becky (Brad) Kretzer, of Bainbridge; two sons, Steve (Karen) Dawes and Chris (Mary) Dawes, of Chillicothe; 11 grandchildren, Rachel, Daniel, Kathleen, Emily, Jacob, Sarah, Tyler, Seth, Brianna, Kacey (James) Greening, and Christina; and a brother, David Skinner, of Chillicothe. Mrs. Dawes was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 am Tuesday, Rev. Lawrence Hummer, Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Margaret Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 pm Monday in the Haller Funeral Home, where a wake service will be held at 8:00 p.m.
