James Young

James Patrick Young, 78, peacefully entered the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 6, 2022 at Mount Carmel hospital in Columbus Ohio.

He was born on October 6, 1943, in Knoxville, TN. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Judy Gennoe Young; his children, Cindy Pritchard, Julie (Kevin) Cooper, Jenise (Mike) Carl; his grandchildren, Dustin (Ashley) Pritchard, Nicholas Carl, Andrew Carl, Matthew Carl, Brooke Cooper; and his siblings, Brent (Susan) Young, Jeff (Cheryl) Young. He was preceded in death by his parents Max and Magdalene Young.

Patrick retired in 2009 from Infosight, where he worked as a mechanical engineer. He is a member of Chillicothe Baptist Church. Patrick desired for others to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and enjoyed serving in his church. Patrick enjoyed friends and family. He was also an avid car enthusiast. He enjoyed working on cars, restoring cars, and attending car shows. He also enjoyed firearms and was a proud NRA member.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Haller Funeral Home & Crematory, Chillicothe, OH. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery.  Friends may call the funeral home from 4 to 6 PM on Wednesday.
