James Wiseman

James Edward Wiseman, 66, of Chillicothe, died at 9:40pm on September 16, 2013, at his home. He was born in Chillicothe, on January 7, 1947 to the late Willis M. and Irene L. (Kiene) Wiseman. He is survived by a daughter, Patricia Wells of Murphy, North Carolina; as well as many friends. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Carol and Lee Cottrill, and Brenda Scott for the kind caring they shared with Jim. James was a Vietnam War Veteran and served in the United States Army. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 62, a lifetime member of the AM Vets Post 4, and a lifetime member of the VFW Post 108. A memorial service will be held at the VFW Post 108, 115 E. Main St., on Friday September 20, at 1:00pm with the Ross County Honor Guard officiating. Haller Funeral Home is serving the family. Memorial Contributions may be made to the VFW Post 108.
