James Shelhart

James M. "Jimmy" Shelhart, Sr., 54, of Frankfort, died unexpectedly at 4:50am Wednesday, March 24, 2010, in Adena Regional Medical Center. He was born April 12, 1955, in Columbus, OH, to Oscar James and Anna Marie Susil Shelhart. On June 3, 1989, he married the former Brenda C. Collins, who survives. Also surviving are his parents, Oscar and Anna Shelhart, of Frankfort; his son James M. Shelhart, Jr., Frankfort; daughters Bobbie Shelhart Howard, Drummonds, TN; Danielle Shelhart, Chillicothe; son and daughter-in-law Johnny (Trace) Mullett, Luttrell, TN; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law Steve (Pat) Shelhart, of Missouri; a sister Teresa Shelhart, of Georgia; and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. He was predeceased by a brother, Jerry Shelhart. Jim worked as an appliance service technician. He was also an instructor for the State of Ohio Hunter Safety Education. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, March 27, 2010, at the Haller Funeral Home with Rev. James Grove officiating. Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Saturday 1 hour prior to the funeral. Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
