James Richmond

James G. "Jimmy" Richmond, Jr., 41, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly in his home December 18, 2007. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday December 22, in the Haller Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Gray officiating. Military graveside services conducted by the Ross Co. Veterans Honor Guard will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the funeral Saturday at Haller Funeral Home. Jimmy was born January 12, 1966, in Cincinnati, OH, to the late James G., Sr. and Phyllis A. Barbee Richmond. Surviving are his son Benjamin Richmond; his daughter Amanda Richmond, both of Howell, MI; sisters and brother-in-law Carolyn (Ralph) Detty, Londonderry; Cathy Richmond and Bethann Richmond, both of West Virginia; a brother and sister-in-law Mark (Nija) Richmond, New Bern, NC; 5 nieces; 3 nephews; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jimmy was an Army Veteran having served for 8 years, including during Desert Shield. He was a member of the American Legion, Post 757.
