James Rhodes

James Patrick Rhodes, 57, passed away on early Sunday morning, February 9, 2025 at the Piketon Nursing Center, following an extended illness.



He was born on April 26, 1967, in Kittanning, Pennslyvania, son of the late Jack Rhodes and Elizabeth (Stanya) Rhodes.



In addition to his mother, he is survived by his two children, Josie Meinzer and John Rhodes; numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; as well as his siblings, DIana Ellard, John Rhodes, and Michael Rhodes. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his beloved wife, Rebecca Rhodes; their daughter, Christina Wilkersin; and his sister, Mary Elizabeth Rhodes.



James was a veteran of the Untied Staes Army, where he honorably served his country. In his free time, he enjoyed playing musice and wood carving.



A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at St. Peter Catholic Church, with Father Nicholas Droll, Celebrant. Burial will be held at Sparkman Hillcrest Cemetery in Texas, where James will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife Rebecca.
