James Lancaster

James E. Lancaster, 60, died at 1:50pm Tuesday June 6, 2006, at Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. He was born July 13, 1945, in Chillicothe to the late Harold J. and Retta A. (Seymour) Lancaster. On November 5, 1984, he married the former Judith A. Wood, who survives. Also surviving are his daughters Pearlynn Lancaster; Karen Lancaster, Valerie Lancaster, all of Chillicothe; Allison White, of Phoenix, AZ; sons Joshua and Michael Lancaster both of Chillicothe; grandchildren: Ashley, Renee, Tristan, Johnny, Shannen, Arnetta, David, Tommy, Tucker, Samantha, and Noah; and a sister and brother-in-law Linda (Ed) Gaines, Chillicothe. He was predeceased by a son James L. Lancaster and a brother Donald Lancaster. Jim was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, Class of 1964. He worked at Wal-Mart in the maintenance department. He attended the Kingston Presbyterian Church and enjoyed fishing, bowling and playing video games. Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Friday at the Haller Funeral Home with Ted Holdren officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 5-8pm Thursday at Haller Funeral Home.
