James Johnston

Col. James A. Johnston, MD, 76, of Chillicothe, died September 29, 2012, at home following an extended illness. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Suzanne and his daughter Elizabeth Johnston, Chillicothe. He was a cardio-thoracic surgeon with the Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He served in the US Army as a Colonel in the Medical Corps. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, October 6, at the El Camino Memorial, 5600 Carroll Canyon Rd., San Diego, CA 92121. Military graveside services will immediate follow. Local arrangements are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home.
