James Johnson

James E. Johnson, 49, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly Friday, September 21, 2018, at his brother's home. He was born November 10, 1968 in Chillicothe to the late Hershel Johnson and Rebecca Beverly.  Survivors include his mother; five children, James VanVoorhis, Soloman, Jaysean, Jordan, and Jazen Johnson; four grandchildren; two sisters, Beverly and Patricia Johnson; and two brothers, Richard and Elliott Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a concrete finisher and worked construction.  He was an avid fisherman. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday at Emmanuel Tabernacle Baptist Church, 293 Mechanic St., Chillicothe, Pastor Rose Hamrick officiating.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
