James Dewey Cassel, Jr., 38, of Chillicothe, passed away from this life at his home unexpectedly on April 23, 2022.
Dewey was born June 17, 1983, in Chillicothe to James Dewey Sr. and Terri Lynne Cassel Armstrong.
Surviving is his father, James Dewey (Julia Hatt) Cassel, Sr.; his mother, Terri Lynne (Lloyd) Armstrong; his loving sister, Amanda; two nieces, Memphis and Luna; grandparents, Dewey and Linda Cassel; a daughter, Olivia May; a son, Ayden James; as well as numerous other family members and close friends.
Dewey was a graduate of Huntington High School, class of 2001, and was a former member of the Grove City Church of the Nazarene. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, and father who brought joy to many. He was an avid sprint car fan, as well as a Cleveland Browns fan. Dewey will be sadly missed by many and all who knew and loved him.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at the Haller Funeral Home and Crematory from 5:00pm-8:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his honor to a trust fund set up at PNC bank on behalf of his daughter, Olivia May Cassel.
