James Barlage

James B. Barlage, Sr., 47, of Chillicothe, formerly of Columbus, died at 10:10am Tuesday, September 20, 2011, at his home following a battle with cancer. He was born June 10, 1964, in Chillicothe to Martin J. and Joanne L. (Everhart) Barlage, who survive. Also surviving are his son, James B. Barlage, Jr.; maternal grandmother Hazel Everhart; brother David A. (Denise Hodge) Barlage, all of Chillicothe; sister Brenda (Richard) French, Beaver, OH; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, including special aunts Janet Kaltenbach and Sandra (Richard) Sherer. He was predeceased by his sister Susan M. McComis. Jim was a graduate of Huntington High School, Class of 1982. He was the owner/operator of Guaranteed Framers in Columbus, OH. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Saturday, September 24, at the Haller Funeral Home with Pastor J. C. Collins and Marlin Kellough officiating. Burial will follow in Huntington Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8pm Friday at Haller Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family request that contributions be made to the funeral home.
