James Banks

James H. "Jimmy" Banks, 57, died March 13, 2017, at Adena Regional Medical Center following complications from cancer.   He was born February 8, 1960, in Ross County to James N. and Josephine A. (Thomas) Banks.   Surviving are his daughter Jasmine Mercedes Banks; his mother Josephine Wingo and his brother Everett Larry Wingo, all of Chillicothe; his aunts and uncles: Tim and Alice Cunningham, Chillicothe, Melvin and Georgia Jones, Chillicothe, Judy Brown, Elyria, OH, Vicky Netter and William Autry, Warrensville, OH; nieces, nephews, cousins and his best friends: Jim Cox, Doug Kellough, and Dale. He was predeceased by his father and a stillborn brother.   Jimmy was a graduate of Chillicothe High School and worked at Frisch's Restaurant. He was an avid Ohio State fan.   Funeral services will be held at 2pm Friday at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Eric Carson and Pastor Clifford Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 12-2pm at Haller's.
