James Anderson

James J. Anderson, 72, of Vinton, OH, formerly of Chillicothe, died at his home Sunday, September 20, 2015. He was born in Wichita, KS October 19, 1942 to the late Joseph and Margaret Anderson, who were longtime residents of Chillicothe. He is survived by five siblings; brothers and sisters-in-law, Sam and Gloria Anderson, Pat and Suzan Anderson, and Don and Betty Anderson, all of Chillicothe; sisters, Mary Ann Adkins, of Dayton, OH and Celia Anderson, of Athens, OH; and several nieces and nephews. A 1961 graduate of Catholic Central High School, he served from 1961-1965 in the US Marine Corps. For many years he worked as a self-employed antique dealer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 am Saturday, at St. Mary Church, Rev. Lawrence Hummer, Celebrant. The family will receive friends at the St. Mary Family Life Center immediately following the Mass. Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in St. Margaret Cemetery.
