Jacquie Leach

Jacquie J. Leach, 64, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly at 10:40pm Saturday, December 20, 2008, in Adena Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday, December 23, in Grandview Cemetery with Rev. J. C. Collins officiating. Calling hours will not be observed. Arrangements are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home. Jacquie was born October 11, 1944, in Ross Co. to the late Chester B. and Jean Janes Alhgren. On May 28, 1966, she married Charles R. Leach, who survives. Also surviving are her daughter Jessica Leach; son and daughter-in-law Chuck (Jody) Leach; grandchildren: Russ Leach and Linzey Leach, all of Chillicothe; and her brother and sister-in-law Samuel J. (Sheila) Alhgren, of Herrin, IL. She was predeceased by her infant sister Esther Alhgren. Jacquie retired as an office manager from Ross Co. Job and Family Services, following 28 years of service. She was a former member of Salem Community Church. She was a member of the Eagles, Aerie 600, for more than 20 years, where she served as secretary for 9 years. She was a racing enthusiast having loved NASCAR and drag racing. She also enjoyed cross stitching and reading and was a former Girl Scout Troop Leader. Memorial contributions can be made in her honor to the PACCAR Medical Education Center c/o Adena Health Foundation, 272 Hospital Road, Chillicothe.
