Jacques L. Thomas passed away in Waverly, OH on Monday, October 21, 2024. He was born in Chillicothe, OH on November 1, 1941, to the late Lewis and Gloria (Cox) Thomas.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years. Carole A. Thomas, his children, Kevin (Karen) Thomas of Cincinnati, Brian (Patricia) Thomas of New Hampshire, and Darren Thomas of Virginia, his grandchildren, Tanner, Lorraine, and Drake, siblings, Marland Thomas, Dana Thomas, and Jay Thomas, and many other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parent, and brothers, Aaron Thomas, Javin Thomas, and Lewis Thomas.
Jacques was a member of Zion Baptist Church and retired from Dupont after many years of service.
A Funeral Service will be held at Old Zion Baptist Church, 536 Mill Street, Chillicothe on Saturday November 2, 2024, at 1:00pm followed by burial at Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 12:00 to 1:00 pm at the church.

The Broken Chain
Little did we know that morning that God
would call your name.
In life we loved you dearly; in death we do
the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you
didn't go alone,

God call you home.
You left us with peaceful memories, your
love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you, you're
always at our side.
Our family chain is broken and nothing

But as God calls us one by one, the chain
