Jacqueline Lea Stauffer, 49, of Chillicothe, passed peacefully Tuesday evening, April 20, 2021 at Nationwide Children's Hospital, following a brief illness.
She was born July 19, 1971, in Chillicothe, Ohio, daughter of Gary and Julia (Branham) Stauffer.
Surviving is her father, Gary "Jake" (Darla) Stauffer; her mother, Julia Stauffer; two brothers, Jeramy Stauffer, and Justin Stauffer; her grandmother, Rita Stauffer; three nieces, Lexy (Dakota) Houser, Abby Stauffer, and Aleah Stauffer; a nephew, Owen Stauffer; two uncles, Mike Erskine, and Jack (Faith) Branham; five aunts, Opal Lauerman, Brenda (Larry) Reed, Debbie DeMint, Cheryl Arledge, and Patty (Rick) Manson; as well as a host of cousins and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bub Stauffer, Dorothy (Donald) Branham, and Lutie Belle Tabor; two aunts, LuAnn Stauffer, and Marilyn Erskine; an uncle, Ron Lauerman; and a very special family friend, Roger Seitz.
Jackie was a graduate of the Pioneer School, Class of 1992. She loved going shopping, especially to the Dollar Tree and Ollies, having a particular fondness for collecting books. She loved her dog Ginger, and her cat Ivy. She also enjoyed watching the Golden Girls. Jackie had a light that shined so incredibly bright, it touched everyone she came into contact with. Her family will forever remember her kind, loving heart and caring ways.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, April 30, 2021 at the Haller Funeral Home, with Pastor Bruce Hines officiating. Friends may join the family for a visitation from 1:00pm until the time of the service.
