Jacqueline “Jackie” Y. (Medley) Netter, 78, of Chillicothe, Ohio, passed away on May 8, 2026. She was born on December 29, 1947 to the late Cecil E. and Mary Anne (Pettiford) Medley. On November 5, 1966, she married Arthur Spencer Netter Jr., who survives.
Also surviving are son, Bryan (Candy) Netter, and daughter, Deanne (Ramon) Miller; grandchildren, Taylor (Dane) Gould, Shay (Mellissa) Netter, Mikayla (Chaz) Miller, Abrena (Joe) O’Neil, Quierra Miller, Elijah Miller, Nasiyah Miller; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rosemary Ghoston, Patricia (John) Harding; brother, Tony Medley, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sons, Shawn and Reginald Netter; and sister, Cecilia Jackson.
She was a 1966 graduate of Chillicothe High School, she then went on to a technical college to earn her Associate’s degree. Jackie began her career at First National Bank before advancing to Wear-Ever Aluminum Proctor-Silex from 1970 - 1990. She then became a driver for Chillicothe City Schools.
Known for her compassion and softness, Jackie’s heart was always full of love for her family, she still found the time to enjoy her stories, she found her moments of peace while listening to the trees rustling in the wind and the songs of birds her heart remains here with us all.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at the Haller Funeral Home and Crematory, burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm at Haller Funeral Home.
