Jacob Andrew Hawkins passed away on June 3rd, 2024 in California. Born on April 23, 1995 in Chillicothe Ohio, he was the cherished son of Ryan and Laura Hawkins, and loving brother of Grace and Yerin Hawkins.
Known for his infectious smile, Jacob never met a stranger, and the people he met nearly always became friends.
A phrase Jacob often used was "I appreciate you". He could always see the good in people, even if they couldn't see it themselves.
Jacob had a talent for art and music. He had some really big dreams, not just for himself, but for others too.
Jacob was predeceased by his grandmother, Sytha Rayer, and his sister, Grace Hawkins.
He leaves behind a loving family: his parents, Ryan and Laura Hawkins, His sister, Yerin Hawkins, his grandfather, Larry Rayer, his aunt, uncle and cousin, Rebecca, Tracy, and Isabel McCoy, his wife, Ruth, his children, Christian Hawkins, and Emily and Emmanuel Lozano, and friends that will miss him dearly.
A private graveside service will be held by invite only.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the local animal shelter in memory of Jacob.
