F. Jack Korzecki, 80, of Chillicothe, died at 8:00am Saturday, June 3, 2006, in his home following a brief battle with cancer. He was born February 19, 1926, in Saginaw, MI, to the late Stanley and Olga (Arlt) Korzecki. He married the former Pauline Peter, who survives. Also surviving are his son Samuel Korzecki, of Columbus; daughter and son-in-law Becki (Kenny) Vickers, of Vail, CO; and a granddaughter Tatum Vickers, Vail CO. He was predeceased by a son, Jock Korzecki. Jack was a Navy Veteran of WWII serving in the Pacific Theater. After being discharged, he attended Ferris State University for 3 years before entering the business world. His entire life was spent in the sales of tobacco starting with the P. Lorillard Co., D.W.G. Cigar and Scotten Dillon Co. where he served as Vice-President of sales. Most recently, he went back with the D.W.G. Cigar, now National Cigar, and worked to the present. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Tuesday, June 6, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Rev. Lawrence Hummer, Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Margaret Cemetery. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the Mass at St. Mary Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home.
