J. Davis

J. Symedia Davis, 92, of Chillicothe, went to be with the Lord at 9:06pm, Saturday, March 12, 2011, in Westmoreland Place. She was born July 27, 1918, in Ross County to the late Jerry and Hattie Johnson Jenkins. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law Lawrence "Larry" (Christal) Davis; daughter Dora "Patty" Dixon, all of Chillicothe; 7 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, William "Billy" Haithcock; and two sisters. Ms. Davis was a former member of the First Baptist Church where she sang in the Senior Choir. Funeral services will be held at Noon, Wednesday, March 16, at the Haller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Caldwell Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8pm Tuesday at Haller Funeral Home.
