J. Butt

J. Bryant Butt, 17, of Chillicothe, died 7:30 am Tuesday, May 2, 2006 in his home unexpectedly. He was born February 13, 1989 in Columbus to James R. and Melissa J. Vincent Butt, who survive. Also surviving is a sister, Michaela C. Butt, at home; maternal grandmother, Vonda Vincent; paternal grandmother, Pauline Butt Doyle-Spriggs, both of Chillicothe; a step-grandmother, Beverly Butt, of St. Pierce, FL; uncles, Wesley Vincent, Joseph (Julie) and John Butt; aunts, Susan (Tom) Porter, Laura and Teresa Butt; cousins, Tabatha Vincent, Chad (Amy) Parks, Doug Porter, Savanah, and Jorja Butt; several great-aunts and uncles; and several very close friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Wesley W. Vincent and Nick Butt. Bryant was a member of the National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, and the National Spanish Honor Society. He will be sadly missed. The family asks that you remember his great sense of humor and his smile. He was a member of St. Mary Parish, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, 10:00 am, Saturday, May 6, 2006, Rev. Lawrence Hummer, Celebrant. The family will receive friends in the St. Mary Family Life Center following the funeral mass. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 pm Friday in the Haller Funeral Home where a wake service will be held at 8:00 pm.
