Iva Davis

Iva Lucille Davis, 88, of Chillicothe, Ohio, formerly of Flint, Michigan, died July 17, 2014. Iva Lucille was born July 24, 1925 in Flint, MI the daughter of Roy Thomas and Velma Olive (Ziegler) Clark. She was a 1944 graduate of Flint Central High School. She married Earl D. Davis on August 11, 1951 in Flint; he preceded her in death November 19, 1985. She was a former member of the First Presbyterian Church of Flint. Her husband, Earl, was a Presbyterian Minister and they were involved in many churches over the years. Surviving are three children, Cynthia (Steven) McCuan, Mt. Sterling OH, Pamela (Kenneth) Johnson, Chillicothe, OH, Thomas (Debbie) Davis, Springfield, MO; grandchildren, Ella (Jeremy) Weaver, David (Sarah) Johnson, Abby Johnson, Adam (Erin) Davis; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Emma, and Easton Johnson, Lily Weaver, Ember Davis; brother-in-law, Lonnie Hyatt; many nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Laura Clifford and Joyce Hyatt; brothers, Elgin and Glen Richard Clark. Funeral services will be held 12:30 PM Monday, July 21 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Interment in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be 11 AM - 12:30 PM Monday, July 21, at Sharp's.
