Irene Southworth

Irene E. Southworth Irene E. Southworth, 86, of Trenton, OH, formerly a resident of Chillicothe for 83 years, died at her home at 5:00pm Saturday August 18, 2007. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11:00am Saturday August 25, 2007, in St. Mary Catholic Church, Rev. Lawrence Hummer, Celebrant. The family will receive friends following the Mass in the St. Mary Family Life Center. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in St. Margaret Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home. Irene was born May 27, 1921, in Chillicothe to the late John F. and Elizabeth A. (Ryan) Miller. On July 10, 1942, she married Richard V. Southworth, who survives. Also surviving are her son and daughter-in-law Richard V. (Marilyn) Southworth, Jr., of Midlothian, VA; daughter and son-in-law Judy (Chuck) Fadden, of Middleton, OH; 3 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; and a brother and sister-in-law John "Jack" (Nedra) Miller, Chillicothe. Irene worked for the J. C. Penny Co. for 36 years retiring as the credit manager. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
