Howard Stewart

Howard Stewart, 82, of Bourneville, died at 2:04am June 28, 2015, at his residence following an extended illness. He was born January 17, 1933, in Ross County to the late Charles H. and Helen (Hire) Stewart. Surviving is his companion for over 25 years, Sherry Newlan, of Bourneville; daughters Barbara (Ronald) Yoakem, of Bourneville; Rhonda (James) Bailey, Franklin, OH; Juanita Stewart; Sonja "Joey" Stewart; Stephanie (William) Yoakem; Penny Santos, all of Chillicothe; Mandy (Ricky) McElwee, Bainbridge; and Brandy Newlan (Josh Mitchell), Bourneville; son Howard, Jr. "Bosco" (Betsy) Stewart, Bourneville; 25 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; a sister Wanda O'Neil; and brothers Larry and Garrett Stewart. He was predeceased by a daughter Heidi Newlan; brothers Max, Ralph and Donald Stewart; and sisters Mary Hurley and Dorothy Ford. Howard was a retired Twin Twp. employee. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Wednesday, July 1, at Haller Funeral Home with Elder Garrett "Skip" Stewart, Jr., officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Twp. Cemetery.
