Howard R. Pollock Jr., 80, of Chillicothe, died September 19, 2022, at the VA Medical Center-Chillicothe, following an extended illness.
He was born March 12, 1942 in Chillicothe to the late Howard R. and Mary Minney Pollock Sr. Survivors include three children, Brenda Sue (Lane Riehle) Kelley, South Salem, Howie (Sharon) Pollock, Theodore, AL and Jason (April) Pollock, Knoxville, TN; 12 grandchildren, Nikki (Roy) Crowthers, Tiffany, Taylor, Victoria, Nealy, Carlee, Hayden, Mary, Mya, Hunter, Jace and Nikahla Pollock; 12 great-grandchildren, Mikaela, Nathanael (Katie), Josh, Jarrett, Jacob, Jay, J. T., Anna, Brayden, Jadyn, Michael and Matthew; 7 great-great-grandchildren; two stepchildren, Bobby Kingery and Jamie (Jon) Henrickson; 7 step-grandchildren, Logan, Brittany, Zach, Dakota, Lucian, Nicholas and Ryder; and two sisters, Irena (James) Skaggs and Donna Pollock. Howard was preceded in death by two children, Brian and Tyla Pollock; a grandson, Jacob Pollock; and two sisters, Mable Skaggs and Mary Imogene McCloskey.
Mr. Pollock was a pipefitter and electrician, and retired from Goss Electric as a manager. He was a US Army veteran.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the staff members at the VA Hopewell House for their love and care throughout his illness.
Military graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
