Hope Elaine Haddox, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. She was born May 18, 2001, daughter of Brandee and Neal Haddox.
She is survived by her parents, and her loving brother, Bryce (Britney) Haddox. Hope will be missed every day by nieces, Tori and Evie Haddox; Grandmothers, Peggy Park (Nanny), Joyce Haddox (Mimi); Aunt, Sheila (Colby) Skaggs; Uncles, Sonny Hines, Justin (Stephanie) Park; Cousins, Greg Willie Haddox, Hunter (Hayley) Park, Alissa Skaggs, Georgia Park, Cayden Park, Savannah Haddox, and PJ Linzy. Hope was preceded in death by her Grandfathers, Melvin Park, Jr., and Elwood Haddox (old papaw); Great-Grandparents, Willard & Shirley Hines, Frozie & Neal Tackett; Aunts, Brenda Haddox Thompson, Rhonda Hines; and Uncle, Greg Haddox.
Hope had the most beautiful smile that would light up your soul. Belly laughs that nobody could resist. She loved dancing in her wheelchair to the Wiggles and Choo Choo Soul. She also loved swimming and bowling in Susan Special Friends League. Hope attended and graduated from the Pioneer Center, Class of 2022. She participated in the Pioneer School Choir and Cheer Squad. Hope loved to ride horses at Daisy Black Pony Camp and in the Special Olympics riding Bareback Equestrian Division.
Hope’s family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Open Door Ministry, Pioneer Center SSA: Missy, Kelly, and Karen; the Pioneer Center Therapist and Nursing Staff; Pioneer Center Bus Driver, Randy; Teacher Aides, Hannah, Stephanie, Angie and Jenna; Caretakers, Holly, Molly, Kelsey, and Vicki; Lisa and Wendal Crosby; the Scioto Trails Group Home, and to Adena Hospice.
A funeral service will be held at 6:00pm on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Open Door Fellowship, 3130 S Bridge Street, Chillicothe, Ohio 45601. Friends may join the family for visitation from 4:00pm until the time of the service.
