Homer Fry

Homer O. Fry Sr. Homer O. Fry Sr., 80, of Chillicothe, died 8:15 pm, Sunday, May 17, 2009, in the Adena Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness. He was born December 28, 1929 in Ross Co. to Adrian L. and Myrtle Cooker Fry. On May 25, 1947 he married Rosa Montgomery, who survives. Also surviving are two children, Joyce E. Fry and Homer O. Fry Jr., both of Chillicothe; four grandchildren, Lake (Jody) Fry and Brandy Fry, of Chillicothe, Bridget (Doug) Cline, of Florida, and Staci Fry, of Cincinnati; six great-grandchildren, Montana, Daelyn, Caden, Marshall, Nicholas and John. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Mr. Fry retired as an engineer with 30 years service from the Mead Corporation and was active in the construction and restaurant businesses. He was a fifty year member of the BPOE 52 Elks Lodge. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Thursday in the Haller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
