Herminia Fagundo

Herminia V. "Minita" Fagundo, 100, of Chillicothe, died 1:50 am February 25, 2015 at Westmoreland Place Nursing Home. She was born April 24, 1914 in Lares, Puerto Rico to the late Victor and Angelita Correa Valez. She married Jorge Fagundo, who died in 1990. Survivors include two children, Jorge (Elena) Fagundo Jr., of Atlanta, GA and Sylvia (Sam) Chirchill, of Chillicothe; eight grandchildren, Mary Jo (Paul) Harmeier, Randy (Lisa) Fagundo, Amy (Steve) Hanson, Minita Paladino, Jorgeanne Forbes, Peter Fagundo, Sylvia (David) Coates, and Marilen (John) Pries; 20 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four sisters and a brother. Mrs. Fagundo was a homemaker and a seamstress. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the Haller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hallsville Cemetery. Friends may call 12-2 pm Saturday at Haller's.
