Henry Riddle

Henry M. Riddle, 86, of Londonderry, died July 19, 2022 at National Church Residences-Chillicothe, following a brief illness.
He was born July 11, 1936 in Massillon, OH to the late Ilif and Dorothy Hersman Riddle.  On July 13, 1957 he married Joy E. Chenault Riddle, who survives.  Also surviving are two children, Carrie (Ernie) Riddle Strawser, Orlando, FL and Dan (Chris) Riddle, Chillicothe; brother-in-law Terry (Nancy) Chenault; sister-in-law Lee Anne (Bud) Lindstrum; grandchildren, Michael (Liz) Strawser, Jeremy (Ella) Weaver and Brad (Julie) Weaver; great-grandchildren, Haddon, Clementine, Maggie Joy, George Henry Strawser; Lily, Preston, Piper & Kai Weaver.  He was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, Harper Weaver.

Hank was a US Army veteran, serving at Arlington National Cemetery. He retired from Mead Paper in 1997 and from Haller Funeral Home & Crematory in 2021.  He was a member of the Southeastern High School class of 1954, the Londonderry Methodist Church, and served with the Liberty Twp. Fire Department for 52 years.  He was also a member of Scioto Lodge 6 F&AM, all York Rite bodies, Scottish Rite Masons, the Aladdin Shriners and the Ross Co. Shrine Club.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Monday at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory, and begin with a Masonic Service.  Military graveside services, conducted by the Fort Knox Honor Guard, will be held in Londonderry Cemetery on Saturday, August 20, 2022.  Friends may call 11:00 – 1:00 Monday at Haller's.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Ross Co.
