Helen Spetnagel

Helen J. Spetnagel, 86, of Chillicothe, formerly of Richmond Dale, died 12:40 pm, Thursday, March 29, 2012, at the Adena Regional Medical Center. She was born October 25, 1925 in Chillicothe to the late Steven B. and Mahala Ward Sturgell. On April 6, 1950 she married Donald L. Spetnagel, who died May 4, 1996. Survivors include a daughter, Jeanette (Jim) Carroll and a son, Donald (Linda) Spetnagel, both of Chillicothe; 5 grandchildren, Donald and Glen Spetnagel, Rob and Russ Carroll and Dana (John) Davis; and nine great-grandchildren, Gaven, Christopher, Derrick, Kami, Makayla, Ricky, Xander, Izabella, and Bella. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Russell, Kelson, Lillian, Lovina and Betty. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday at the Haller Funeral Home, Pastor Mark Pfeifer officiating. Burial will follow in Little Mound Cemetery, Richmond Dale. Friends may call 6-8 pm Monday and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
